China Repair to a Small Hand painted Powder Box.

A client sent me this powder Box for restoration which had been broken into many pieces, it was of great sentimental value and they wanted an invisible repair.

Once cleaned the order was worked out for re assembly, if pieces are not glued in the right order, there is the risk of the last piece not fitting in, so this is very important to get right.

The Box was adhered with Fynebond and the cracks and missing fragments colour filled, then the joins were painted over with Glaze and powder pigment to tint.
